Quantitative Analysis using R- Importing Data
Importing data from Excel to R
Before starting any data analysis in R, you first need to load data into it (also known as importing data). Today you will learn how to import data from an Excel file into R. Since Excel files are very common, you will find this lesson very useful in your day to day work with R. You can import data by either typing commands in the console or by using the GUI (select “Import Dataset” under “Tools” menu). It’s better to build a habit of writing your own commands instead of using GUI because you have more control over the output.
